Vikarabad District Representative January 20 (Democracy): Education Minister Sabita Indrareddy said that CM KCR is credited with keeping the rice farmer from shedding tears. On Wednesday, the Chevella constituency inaugurated a farmer's platform, additional school rooms, a library building, farmer's platforms in Ellakonda and villages in the Nawabpet Mandal Center. Minister Sabita Reddy along with Zadpi Chairperson Sunita Reddy, Vice Chairman Vijay Kumar, District Library Chairman Kondal Reddy and Additional Collector Chandrayala were present at the inaugural function. He lauded the support of the families of the deceased farmer with Rs 5 lakh.
A total of 2604 farmer forums have been set up across the state for farmers to discuss, seek advice and suggestions. He reminded that we are the only government that provides direct investment assistance of Rs 5,000 per acre and Rs 10,000 per farmer per annum. 7500 crore was distributed under the farmer bond. Farmer platforms across the state are reported to have completed construction on a record scale. Chief Minister KCR said that it is the aspiration of the farmer to grow to the level where the price of the crop is fixed. We are working for irrigation in this area.
